Flexpa builds the access hub to patient-consented health records through our Consent SDK, Network of data sources, and FHIR Records API.
I own design from concept to launch, partner with the CTO on product roadmapping, lead our interoperability efforts, contribute to GTM as the product point, and ship full-stack features to our core products.
Design Rounds is a group of product & design individuals in healthcare. I started this group in hopes that knowledge sharing across the sectors of healthcare would improve how we design our part of the bigger puzzle. The name is an ode to Grand Rounds - where doctors share and collaborate on patient cases.
past work & projects
I love working with young teams building culture and building products. I've been lucky to have had experiences that propelled me into the next stage with more confidence and clarity on where I can contribute my time.
Malla is a functional medicine practice built around root cause analysis, evidence based approaches through lab testing, and 1:1 care with a provider. I helped the team prioritize and design the core experience for Malla practitioners.
Full service brand, photography, product, and design for pre-seed, seed, and growth stage startups. I helped founders research their theses, map out minimum valuable versions of the product, execute on design, and ship iteratively.
I wrote an interior design blog for a while, sharing notes and thoughts on how to create a space crafted to your lifestyle and aesthetics. Perhaps one day I'll pick this one back up again :)
Where my healthcare journey really took off. I had the opportunity to build our critical back-office member support tooling like care routing and cost estimation, as well as working with Oscar providers to build our in-house virtual care platform and EHR.
Springboard offers a UX/UI career track covering all the fundamentals of UX and UI design through coursework, readings, assignments, and 4 portfolio projects. Mentors provide 1:1 mentoring services to students that include course and project feedback, industry insights, and support in completing the course.
As the first product designer, I learned to work hard, fail fast, and iterate quickly. Figma was only one of the many hats I got to wear while helping to build Focal's first major market products deploying computer vision models in the brick and mortar retail space. Some other hats include stocking shelves, prototyping hardware options, and customer success.
I developed an iOS and watchOS application for Apple Store retail employees to gain efficiency on the job. I was selected as one of five interns that summer to present my project to the CIO.
